I started to practice ZYQ only recently, I am eligible to join the Shaolin Retreat?
Yes, if you have completed Level 1 with a certified instructor you are welcome to join Group 1.
What is included in the fees?
Accommodation, food and retreat fees. Each participant will have to cover travel as an additional cost.
Can I take part in the Shaolin Retreat for a shorter period?
Yes, it is possible. However, the organizers need to be informed upfront. Your time of arrival needs to be specifically confirmed.
If I take part in the Shaolin Retreat can I stay longer in China?
Yes, you can. But you have to organize your travel outside of the Retreat by yourself.
Will I get to visit famous sites in Beijing?
Yes, within Group 1 specific tours to famous sites are planned. These include the Forbidden city, Great Chinese Wall and other landmarks, namely famous temples within Beijing.
What is the weather like in summer in Shaolin?
Please expect very warm weather, at times the temperature can exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
Will I be able to buy souvenirs and something to remember?
Yes, there are plenty of shopping options both around Shaolin and within Beijing.
